BA in Archaeology, 2024
Thomas completed the Archaeology major this past January 2024, and Professor Murowchick reports that Thomas was a stellar performer in his Asia-related courses, where he demonstrated particular tenacity when faced with unfamiliar material and tackled three very difficult translations of early Bronze Age oracle bone inscriptions from North China. Thomas fulfilled his archaeological field school requirement by taking part in the Irish Archaeological Field School, “EXPERIMENTAL ARCHAEOLOGY AND MATERIALITY OF THE MEDIEVAL PERIOD OF IRELAND,” which provided students with hands-on experience in understanding and creating Medieval material culture.
