| Areas of Interest |
I am interested in bringing together ethics, politics, and the law to focus on the global trade in looted cultural objects, the respectful treatment of human remains, and the manipulation and destruction of cultural heritage for nationalist and political agendas. |
| How did your experience in the program shape your professional and personal life? |
The BU Archaeology program is the reason I am interested in my particular area of focus. |
| What interactions with members of the Archaeology faculty did you value most during your time in the program? |
I really valued how much classes focused on discussion. The faculty want you to be active in class, and they want to hear what you think – this really helped me learn how to express myself and think critically. |
| If you could give a piece of advice to your past self, what would it be? |
Get involved in the many many research opportunities available in the Archaeology Program! This really helped me shape my interest area, and was a really positive experience. |
