BA/MA Archaeology

Sage is interested in Indigenous archaeology with a focus in repatriation, ethics, and equity. Their commitment to these areas has shaped their academic journey, driving them to engage directly with cultural heritage issues. Sage has gained hands-on experience through internships at the Mount Holyoke Art Museum, where they did research for a NAGPRA repatriation request, and at the Concord Museum, where they conducted collections inventory and NAGPRA-related research. These experiences have deepened their understanding of the complex ethical responsibilities involved in museum curation and the handling of Indigenous artifacts.
