Alum, Justin Holcomb (GRS’20) started a new subfield – Planetary Geoarchaeology
Dr. Justin Holcomb started a new subfield – Planetary Geoarchaeology – in collaboration with a group of planetary scientists, space archaeologists, geomorphologists, and geoarchaeologists. He published with a team of geologists, archaeologists, and planetary scientists. They announce the new subfield, Planetary Geoarchaeology, in a paper published in the journal Geoarchaeology. Their goal is to turn geoarchaeological attention towards the study of space heritage as our material footprint continues to expand across our solar system.
