Lauren Lane

Lauren Lane helps organizations turn ambitious ideas into operating realities. As a Principal Consultant at SEI, an employee-owned management consulting firm, she works with healthcare and life sciences leaders on the messy, expensive problems that resist easy fixes. At her core she is a systems thinker and facilitator, convinced that most organizational problems are not really about a broken process or the wrong tool. They live in the space between people, incentives, information, and technology. Her job is to figure out what is actually going wrong, get everyone to agree on it, and then help build something that holds. She is known for bringing diverse groups of people together, asking the hard questions, and giving teams the confidence to move.

Lauren graduated from the College of Arts & Sciences in 2011 with a major in English and a minor in Japanese, studied abroad in Japan, and was a member of Sigma Kappa and a founding member of the BU Young Alumni Council. She went on to earn a Master of International Affairs from American University with a focus on global environmental policy, and is LUMA-certified in design thinking.
