Member, BU Alumni Council & Scarlet Key Alumni Advisory Council

J. Fernando Corredor was born in Colombia and grew up in Brookline, MA.
He is a medical device executive with a successful record of helping companies grow and customers acquire innovative technologies for over 20 years. He has specialized in startups with revolutionary and disruptive solutions like intraoperative MRI, portable CT scanners, artificial intelligence in medical imaging, rapid intraoperative pathology and most recently helping modernize pathology labs with AI. He enjoys advising medtech companies and mentoring others in this space, including how to get into it (happy to do so through BU Connects).
He’s an avid runner, currently on a quest to complete a marathon on each continent (one more to go) and fondly recalls running around the Charles during his time at BU -with the view from the BU Bridge being one of his favorite views on the planet! He enjoys reading, traveling, and backgammon. He lives in San Francisco with his wife Jessica.
