CinemAfriq Film Series Spring Line-up

Duke, a promising undergraduate student, is broke and must provide for his critically ill mother. He hatches a genius plan with his friends and his crush Kej. But the success of their scheme sends Duke into a spiral of guilt.

National Library of South Africa: Digital CollectionsThe National Library of South Africa has a rich collection of openly accessible digital archives. They include: a portion of W.H.I. Bleek’s papers, a key historical resource for the study of African languages, posters (including political, WWII, and shipping lines posters), postcards, and just over 40 South African newspapers spanning mid-1800’s to the 1900’s, ranging from known titles such as the Cape Argus, to very small, localized papers, including several in isiXhosa, isiZulu and seSotho.
