Study Abroad and Internship Programs

BU Internship and Language & Liberal Arts Programs

Boston University Study Abroad offers Questrom School of Business students a variety of study abroad opportunities through BU centers abroad. These programs offer select business coursework and internships along with various non-Questrom and Hub elective courses. BU center locations have included Dublin, London, Los Angeles, Shanghai, Sydney, and Washington, D.C. More information can be found on the Boston University Study Abroad website.

Business Exchange Programs

Students can enroll directly at one of BU’s partner universities, working closely with business faculty and participating in classes with students from diverse backgrounds. Students can complete both business and non-business coursework through exchange programs, but this coursework cannot fulfill Hub requirements. Information about these programs is available on the Boston University Study Abroad website.

Business Internship Programs

These programs provide Questrom students the opportunity to participate in business-related internships abroad while taking classes at local universities. Information about these programs is available on the Boston University Study Abroad website.

Global Management Experience

Boston University’s Questrom School of Business also offers a unique course offering, the Global Management Experience (QST IM 475). The Global Management Experience is a 4-unit course that involves analytical work throughout the spring term including an exploration of the economic, governmental, and social factors that affect the conduct of business and ethics in a variety of industries and contexts. The course includes an in-country experience over Boston University’s Spring Break week, providing an opportunity for firsthand observation around the application of management principles and strategies in the global arena. Enrollment in this course is by application.
