Minor in Physics
A minor in Physics is a great way to supplement any science major or simply support a student who would like a well-rounded background. Many math and engineering students decide to enhance their majors with a minor in Physics.
Principal Courses
A total of five 4-unit courses are required for completion of the minor:
- CAS PY 251 & PY 252 or PY 211 & PY 212 or PY 241 & PY 242
- CAS PY 351 (or PY 313)
- Two PY courses at the 300 level or above, not including PY 401, PY 402, PY 482, PY 491, or PY 492
A minimum grade of C in each course must be earned.
