Etsuko Snyder has been the Head of Japanese Language Program since September of 2008. She teaches all levels of Japanese in the department and her areas of interest include foreign language teaching methods, student’s interest/motivation, teacher training, and technology in language teaching. She taught at the University of Massachusetts, Elms College, Beloit College, and Penn State University before coming to Boston University.
