01/05/2011The biomedical engineering seminar room underwent renovations that included modifications to the existing entry way and walls that enlarged the room, resulting in additional seating space. The room was outfitted with new paint and carpet, energy efficient lighting control systems, and modified media equipment. Both the seminar room and lounge got new furnishings.

01/05/2011Consolidation of lab animal facility for Charles River Campus to increase capacity and flexibility of the facility. Additions to the space will include installation of a new cage washer and autoclave and epoxy floors. All renovations are required for facility meet ALAAC accreditation, scheduled for spring 2011.

The suite was updated with new finishes, new ceilings, and energy efficient light fixtures. The office furniture was replace and the conference room upgraded to include enhanced media components.

Besides refinishing surfaces, media equipment in the rooms was brought up to current standards. Rooms received new paint, carpet, blinds and media cabinets to house necessary components.

01/05/2011The Chemistry department’s administrative suite at 590 Commonwealth Avenue was completely renovated to update and reorganize the space to better meet the functional needs of the department. Renovations included opening existing partitions to create additional offices, as well as mechanical, electrical and plumbing enhancements.
