Sidrah Baloch

Assistant Director of Policy

Sidrah Baloch is the assistant director of policy at the Wheelock Educational Policy Center (WEPC). She manages WEPC’s research–practice partnerships with state and local education agencies around the country in support of the center’s mission of conducting and disseminating rigorous, policy-relevant research to improve educational opportunities and outcomes for underserved students.

Before joining WEPC, Ms. Baloch worked at Insight Education Group as a Data Manager for Project IGNITE, a network of school districts focused on improving educator effectiveness and diversity through various classroom-, school-, and district-level strategies. She was also previously a research manager at the Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University, where she partnered with local and state education agencies to generate rigorous evidence about effective teaching and learning, specifically regarding chronic absenteeism, postsecondary readiness, career and technical education, educational software, and access to advanced courses.
