Mary Pura

Mary Pura is a doctoral student in higher education leadership at Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development. As the associate director of undergraduate admission at Simmons University, Mary is passionate about student advocacy and empowerment at women’s centered institutions.

With a primary focus on transfer and adult student recruitment, Mary is interested in the creation of seamless and affordable pathways for students transferring from two-year community colleges to four-year institutions. During her time in admissions, Mary has been recocognized as a Phi Theta Kappa Honor Roll recipient. She is a member of the New England Transfer Association (NETA) and the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC).
