
K’Nadja Sims
Doctoral Student
K’Nadja Sims is a doctoral student in the Counseling Psychology & Applied Human Development program at Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development on the counseling psychology track. K’Nadja’s research interests include Black identity development and academic achievement. At Boston University, she works as an assistant to BU’s Sankofa Scholars program and is an AACTE Holmes Scholar. She is also a Liberation Lounge committee member for Division 17 of the American Psychological Association (APA).
As a master’s student, K’Nadja engaged in research with team REACH, specifically examining financial informed consent and multicultural orientation in supervisor and supervisee dyads. K’Nadja also completed a therapy internship at Sprigs Counseling Collaborative where she provided therapy to children and adolescents. She also worked at Autism Learning Partners as a registered behavior technician (RBT).
