Dr. Karen Murphy is an associate professor in the Early Childhood Education program at Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development. She teaches courses in early childhood education, curriculum design, and play. Her scholarly interests include early childhood learning environments, the development of children’s conceptions of school, and technology integration into early childhood curriculum.
Dr. Murphy has been an early childhood classroom teacher, supervisor, and teacher educator for many years. Her publications have appeared in Young Children, the Journal of Technology and Teacher Education, and Integrated Technologies, Innovative Learning: Insights from the PT3 Program.
