Josefina Senese

Doctoral Student

Josefina Senese is a doctoral student in educational policy studies at Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development. Her research interests center on the intersection of school choice and special education in the United States. Josefina is interested in analyzing the effect of these policies on students with disabilities’ academic outcomes.

Before joining BU, Josefina served as a research consultant for the Institute for Educational Initiatives at the University of Notre Dame. She also worked in Washington, DC, for the Office of Learning and Impact at the Inter-American Foundation and the Organization of American States.

During her graduate studies, Josefina has received a Fulbright scholarship, an Alpha Delta Kappa International Teacher Education Scholarship, and a PEO International Peace Scholarship.
