Dean Chard Joins Delegation to International March of the Living

This week, BU Wheelock Dean ad interim David Chard will travel to Poland with a small delegation of deans from various institutions of education and law to attend the International March of the Living, an annual educational program that brings individuals from around the world to Poland and Israel to study the history of the Holocaust and to examine the roots of prejudice, intolerance, and hatred.
“Through a series of presentations by international experts and discussions with education leaders, we will examine how lessons from the holocaust and other genocides can be built into courses and experiences for students of human development” says Dean Chard, in an email sent to the BU Wheelock community.
The International March of the Living will be live-streaming the multiple parts of their program beginning on May 2.
