About the Emerging Higher Ed Scholars Program

Presentations will bring together emerging scholars and a senior scholar discussant to:

Examine the current discourse surrounding DEI in higher education contexts
Discuss how scholars in states hostile to DEI navigate restrictive environments
Articulate implications for the future of DEI in higher education within our shifting political landscape

Presentations will be a part of a three-hour symposium and luncheon showcasing the work of emerging scholars, who will present their research as a conference-style talk for 15-20 minutes, followed by a panel discussion facilitated by a Boston University senior scholar.
