
Louise Lipsitz
Part-Time Instructor
Louise Lipsitz is a part-time instructor in the Educational Leadership & Policy Studies program at BU Wheelock. She has spent her entire professional career in education: first as a classroom teacher in multiple elementary grades, and later, in independent and public school settings as a special educator, evaluation team chair, special education reading teacher, and elementary school principal. Ms. Lipsitz has been a faculty member at the Educational Leadership Institute, preparing practitioners for licensure in school leadership and has also supervised preservice teachers during their undergraduate practicums.
Ms. Lipsitz is certified as a mentor by the National Association of School Principals. She is the coauthor with Gerald C. Leader of Bold School Principals: Collaborative Practices for Heightened Student Learning.
