  1. Rel Dowell’s fearless documentary is a passionate and searing look at one of the (many) tragedies facing
minority communities in this country. The injunctions to walk in another man’s shoes; to treat others as
you would wish to be treated; to be kind are hopelessly lacking in a nation where the sale of Bibles and
self-help books are higher than anywhere else in the world. Go figure!
What is the answer? Give-share-be kind-treat others as you would wish to be treated. And understand that Love without Loyalty, and Loyalty without Love are words without meaning.

  2. I met Rel Dowell at a panel in philadelphia discussing the importance of financing diverse films. He mentioned he was working on this documentary and I am ecstatic to see that a project this sensitive has seen the light of day and is changing the narrative of the stereotypical black father. We need more directors like Rel who will be the champion for so many of us who have no voice. Thanks Rel!

  3. This documentary is heartbreaking. Keep Going! Keep exposing!

Barack Obama would never have been president, Stephen King would have never been such an amazing author, if their mothers and fathers spent their upbringings fighting in court over child support and custody.

The child support system is not helping anyone but the judges, the lawyers, and the child support employees. It destroys the children it claims to help. It pushes parents to fight each other, by setting ridiculously high support mandates.. Shut this worthless, destructive bureaucratic monstrosity down. Drain the swamp.
