STH Library Talk Series: Hyebin Hong (Postponed)

NOTE: This event has been rescheduled until Fall 2020.

The School of Theology Library hosts Ph.D. candidate in the field of Theological Ethics Hyebin Hong for our first STH Library Talk Series lecture of 2020. Hyebin will discuss her dissertation, where she critically engages postcolonial theological discussion through the concept of moral debilitation discovered in the Korean literary figure of orphan. Beyond her regular academic life, she is a lover of dogs, an enthusiastic amateur cook, and a Taekwondo practitioner.

About the STH Library Talk Series: The STH Library Talk Series highlights exciting scholarship from all corners of the Boston University School of Theology community. The library invites faculty, students, or staff at STH to discuss a recent piece of scholarship in the fields of theology or beyond, providing the community a chance to engage with a work and its author in an intimate setting. The library talks typically last forty-five minutes to an hour.
