Our reference desk is located near the main entrance of the library, around the corner towards the right, by the bound periodicals.

If you prefer to ask us a question from the comfort of your own home, you can do that too! When you email our reference librarians through sthref@bu.edu, your question goes out to all of our reference librarians. After receiving your email, we will work on answering your question and respond within one business day of receiving your question.

Provide a brief description of the assignment and your topic. Please include the intended length of your work in pages and any requirements regarding source materials to be used.
Reference Appointment
Reference Appointments can be scheduled Mondays-Fridays, from 10am-3pm. Appointments can be in-person at our STH Library reference desk or online via Zoom, per your preference. Please provide your preferred date and time for this appointment where it says "Requested Date" and "Requested TIme." In case this time is already taken, please provide an alternative date and time where it says "Alternate Date" and "Alternate Time." Thank you!
