Summer hours begin May 15, 2023
Beginning on May 15, 2023, the STH Library will observe the following hours: Summer 2023 Hours: Mon. – Fri.: 10 am – 4 pm Closed Weekends and Holidays. Our regular semester hours will return in the fall.

12/16-12/17 – Extended Hours for Finals
The BU School of Theology Library will be open extended hours during finals on: Friday, December 16, 2022 from 8 am – 8 pm. Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 10 am – 5 pm.
Fall semester hours begin 9/6
The STH Library will resume its academic semester hours for the fall on Tuesday, September 6, 2022. Mon. – Thurs.: 8:00am-8:00pm Fridays: 8:00am-4:00pm Saturdays: 12:00pm-4:00pm Closed Sundays and Holidays
Fall Semester hours begin 9/2
The STH Library will begin its fall semester hours on Thursday, September 2, 2021: 8 am – 8 pm Mondays – Thursdays 8 am – 4 pm Fridays 12 pm – 4 pm Saturdays The library is closed on Sundays and holidays.
Closed – July 5
The School of Theology Library will be closed on Monday, July 5, 2021 in observance of Independence Day.
Closed 6/18 for Juneteenth
The STH Library will be closed on Friday, June 18, 2021 in observance of Juneteenth. Regular summer hours will resume on Monday, June 21, 2021.
Closed 5/31 for Memorial Day
The School of Theology Library will be closed on Monday, May 31, 2021 in observance of Memorial Day. Normal summer hours will resume on Tuesday, June 1, 2021.
Summer Hours begin 5/24
Following spring exams, the STH Library will be open 9am – 4pm on May 10-12. The STH Library will close from May 13-23. Beginning May 24, the STH Library will be open 9am – 4pm Mondays – Fridays for the summer.
Library Closed 3/31: BU Wellness Day
The Boston University School of Theology Library will be closed on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 in observance of the BU Wellness Day.
Library CLOSED December 19 – January 18
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Theology Library will be closed to the public beginning 4pm on Friday, December 18th through January 18th. The library will re-open on Tuesday, January 19th.
