Revamped Website!

The School of Theology Library has updated its website! In April, Boston University introduced a new framework for websites that incorporates best practices for website building and allows for easier, more responsive use no matter what device being used: phone, tablet, laptop, or PC. The staff of the School of Theology Library decided that we would best serve our users if we moved our site to this new framework. The result is a more user-friendly experience for our users. That said, the placement of items should remain familiar. The placement of menus, information about hours and directions, and links to our services haven’t changed or have changed only minimally.

While migrating the site over to the new framework, the library saw it as a valuable opportunity to re-write much of the content on the site while highlighting many of our services we offer the School of Theology community. For example, our Engage section highlights many services we offer beyond books or e-books. Other pages (like under the For Students, For Visitors, About, etc.) have been re-written to include more helpful content to assist our users. Click around, explore the pages, and learn about all the services we have to offer.

This is one of several changes we have in store over the summer for our website. The university’s libraries will be launching a new platform for research guides, and we are using this opportunity to edit our guides to provide the most up-to-date information on topics (and research areas) our users care about the most. Please stay tuned for information on the launch of our research guides!
