2025 ASHA Awards

Congratulations to 2025’s ASHA Award Recipients! The ASHA Awards are awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association each year to “recognize the contributions of individuals and groups to the professions of speech-language pathology, audiology, and speech and hearing science.”

This year, Sargent College celebrates recipients John Costello (Fellowship of the Association Award), and Jerry Kaplan (Outstanding Service Award).

We are also thrilled to announce that Elizabeth Hoover, Jerry Kaplan and Swathi Kiran were awarded a 2025 ASHA Media Champion Award for their work on the documentary series Living With Aphasia (made in partnership with Midnight Brunch).
