Admission Requirements
Application Requirements:
Sophomore year, spring semester: During registration for fall, sophomores who are interested in (and potentially qualified for) the combined program should talk to their advisor about the application process.
Junior year, fall semester: Qualified students who have been invited to apply to the program will indicate their intent by writing an essay stating their interest in the accelerated program and the profession of speech-language pathology. The essay must be submitted to Program Director Tyler Perrachione by October 1st.
The application process also includes an interview. Interviews will be schedule during the fall semester of the Junior year.
Decisions for acceptance into the accelerated program will be made at the beginning of the Spring semester Junior year based on the letter of intent, the GPAs, and the interview.
Note: Students may elect to return to the standard undergraduate program at any time during the Junior spring/Senior fall period.
