    The National Institute on Aging awarded $3.9 million to Alzheimer’s research led by Julia TCW an assistant professor of pharmacology (MED). <br><br> Professor Kamal Sen (ENG) was awarded $2.9 million from the National Science Foundation for his research surrounding Engineering Brian Circuits for Complex Scene Analysis. <br><br> Over $800 thousand dollars was awarded to Professor Cathie Klapperich (ENG) from the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center for her work on the clinical evaluation of a novel digital health intervention for nutritional anemias. <br><br> Junenette Peters, associate professor of environmental health (SPH) was awarded over $700 thousand dollars for her study of the relationship of metal exposures to health, mood, and cognitive functioning in military veterans by the Department of Defense. <br><br>
