Questrom’s Bachelors-to-Masters in Business Analytics provides a streamlined path for Questrom undergraduates to obtain a STEM-designated Master of Science in Business Analytics in just one additional year. This program is designed to reduce both time and tuition costs, allowing students to apply up to two undergraduate courses towards completion of two related courses in their Master’s program.
We look for motivated candidates excited to lead the future of business – leveraging analytics and AI for data-driven decisions. A technical background is not required. The MSBA degree provides the training you need to handle complex real-world data, machine learning, and experimentation/causal inference, all in the business setting.
Students interested in applying to the BSBA to MSBA program complete a simpler version of the MSBA program application. Please indicate that you are applying to the BSBA to MSBA program (option available in the application).

*Core MSBA courses
If a student completes IS565, BA576 and BA572 during their BSBA, an MSBA elective may be substituted for the third required course. Given the variation in courses BSBA students take, application of BSBA courses towards the MSBA will be made in consultation with the students’ academic advisor.
Admission to the Bachelors-to-Masters in Business Analytics program is contingent upon successful completion of all BSBA degree requirements prior to matriculation into the MSBA program. If you do not substitute two pre-approved courses, you will still be required to complete all MSBA degree requirements, which may result in a longer time to completion and increased costs. If you substitute one pre-approved course, it may be possible to take an additional elective in your spring MSBA semester to graduate in May.
Students can choose to obtain a concentration in Data and Methods, Healthcare Analytics, or Marketing Analytics.
Interning during the fall or spring semesters can be challenging as this is a full-time program. Some students are able to successfully balance a part-time internship (<20 hrs per week) and their classes. Students should speak with their program adviser for guidance. International students may have off-campus work restrictions and should work with ISSO.
Students must apply to the BSBA + MSBA degree before the conferral of the bachelor’s degree. Applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis from students during their senior year.
At this time, the Bachelors-to-Masters program is only available to current Questrom BSBA students. However, we hope you will still consider applying to our MSBA program. If you are looking to accelerate your studies, the 12-month program track offers an August graduation date.
Students should consult with the Graduate Admissions & Financial Aid Office to learn how entrance into the BSBA to MSBA Program might impact their financial aid.
No, as a perk of being an existing member of our Questrom community, no deposit is required to hold your spot!
The intent of the BSBA to MSBA program is to offer students an accelerated track to completing a masters degree. Students seeking to defer the start of their MSBA program for one year will need to consult with the admissions team and program to discuss their specific situation.
