Michelle has worked at Boston University since Fall 2009 and joined the Preprofessional Advising Office in February of 2015 as the Assistant Director of Pre-Health Programs. She earned her MBA from Northeastern University while working as the Undergraduate Programs Coordinator for the Department of Biology at Boston University. She is the Co-Director of the Modular Medical/Dental Integrated Curriculum (MMEDIC) and Seven-Year Liberal Arts/Medical Education (SMED) programs, and provides guidance to students in those early selection programs. Michelle is a mentor to four BPS Community Service Scholars, a member of Boston University’s Advising Network, and serves as the advisor for Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED) and Global Medical Brigades (GMB). She is available to meet with current undergraduate students and alumni from any undergraduate program at Boston University who are interested in pursuing careers in the health professions and students in the MET Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Pre-Medical Studies program. Additionally, Michelle serves on the Executive Board for the Northeast Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (NEAAHP) as the Communications and Technology Director, and is a Co-Coordinator of the Boston Local Area Network (LAN) of pre-health advisors.
Michelle has also served on the Weymouth High School CTE Program Allied Health Advisory Committee since Spring 2018.
