Pre-health advisors are available to discuss a wide range of topics so that our students and alumni can make informed decisions about their future path. We encourage pre-health students to schedule a meeting with an advisor each semester to receive ongoing feedback about the manner in which they are developing their academic and non-academic portfolios for application to health professions schools.

During appointments, topics of discussion may include:

Appointments with pre-health advisors are available for current undergraduate students and alumni from any undergraduate program at Boston University.*

* BU graduate students who did not also earn a BU undergraduate degree are encouraged to reach out to their own undergraduate institution’s pre-health advising office for assistance. If your institution does not provide pre-health advising for alumni, you may be eligible to apply for a pre-health advisor through NAAHP’s “Find an Advisor” service.

Prospective students:

The pre-health team participates in Admissions’ visit days for students interested in Boston University during the fall, winter, and spring. Please check our calendar for any upcoming events.
