Janetos to Help Convene Second Annual GlobalFood+ Speed Talks Symposium

Anthony Janetos, the Director of the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future, is serving on the Organizing Committee for the second annual GlobalFood+ Speed Talks Symposium to be hosted by the Tufts University Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy. The symposium will take place at the Behrakis Auditorium of the Jaharis building at 150 Harrison Ave. in Boston on Friday, February 16 from 12:30 – 4:30 pm.

The event brings together leading Boston-area researchers from a wide range of disciplines to share their work towards healthier and more sustainable food systems in seven-minute speed talks. Confirmed speakers include Pardee Center post-doctoral associate John Patrick Conners (whose talk is titled “Redefining agricultural sustainability in Tanzania”) and Faculty Associate Rachael Garrett (whose talk is titled “Scaling up sustainable intensification in South America”).
