Faculty Fellow Gallagher Gives Keynote at Argentine Central Bank
Prof. Kevin P. Gallagher, a Faculty Fellow at the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future, traveled to Buenos Aires on June 3 and 4 to deliver one of the keynote speeches at the 80th anniversary of the Argentine Central Bank. Argentina’s Central Bank is among the oldest in the world. Gallagher presented findings from two Pardee Center Task Force reports: Regulating Global Capital Flows for Long-Run Development, published in March 2012, and Capital Account Regulations and the Trading System: A Compatibility Review, published in March 2013.
Prof. Gallagher served as a co-chair of the Task Force on Regulating Global Capital Flows for Long-Run Development along with Stephany Griffith-Jones and José Antonio Ocampo of the Initiative for Policy Dialogue (IPD) at Columbia University.
