About Youth Groups

Boston University is committed to ensuring a safe and supportive environment to all students and youth who participate in activities and programs on campus.  Events & Conferences require chaperones for programs with participants under the age of 21.

Please carefully review the Requirements for Chaperones that is applicable to your program.

• Day-only programs
• Housing programs with attendees staying on-campus 

All programs with persons under the age of 18 fall under the scope of the University’s Protection of Minors Policy and may require the signature of the Boston University Protection of Minors Addendum.

All programs must be in compliance with all applicable Massachusetts laws and regulations concerning minors, which may include licensure to operate a recreational camp for children.
