Quincy Gilbert
Assistant Director of Student Engagement
Biography
As Assistant Director of Student Engagement, Quincy (he/him/his) fosters a collaborative and welcoming community for the more than 35 student organizations he oversees at BU Law. He develops and implements programs and events throughout the academic year, including the Student Organization Fair, Movement Challenge, and Training and Transition, and works closely with the Student Events Fellow to support student leaders in planning successful events.
Before joining BU Law in 2026, Quincy served as Student Services Staff Assistant at the Harvard Kennedy School, where he managed student programs, supported event logistics, and helped build community through campus initiatives. Earlier in his career, he held several leadership roles with the YMCA in Rhode Island, including Membership Director at the Cranston YMCA.
Quincy earned an Associate degree from the Community College of Rhode Island, a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of Rhode Island, and a Master of Liberal Arts in Management from the Harvard Extension School. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, exploring nature, musical theater, and spending time with his Siamese cat, Poseidon. When he’s not in Boston, you’ll likely find him visiting family and friends in Rhode Island.
