Biography
Folake Atchade holds both a master’s degree in Litigation from the University of Rouen and a Master of Science in Management and Business Law from ESAM School of Management and Finance in France. She also graduated from Boston University School of Law with an LLM degree in American Law. Folake has previously worked in-house as a Legal Counsel, handling transactional work for Franfinance, a financial institution and a subsidiary of Société Générale, one of the largest banking institutions in France.
Folake is serving as the Co-Chair of the Awards Committee of the Women Guild for 2025-2026. She is also the proud founder of Women Educated, a non-profit that aims to enable girls in Benin to graduate from high school through scholarship support. Folake is currently conducting her research paper on force majeure under the French legal system and the US system.
