Biography
Mr. Flanagan is the Vice President for Tax, Treasury and Risk Management at Insulet Corporation, a medical device manufacturer. Prior to joining Insulet, Mr. Flanagan held a similar role with Analogic Corporation, and held various tax related roles with other companies, and with the Big Four accounting firms Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and KPMG. Most of these roles were in the Boston area, but Mr. Flanagan also spent two years with KPMG in Moscow, Russia.
Mr. Flanagan earned his JD at the University of Georgia, MBA from Babson College, and is an overly proud graduate of the University of Virginia, where he studied Slavic languages.
He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association.
His research interests include international jurisdictional limits on taxing authority and the history of public finance, both in the United States and abroad.
