Marshall D. Feiring (LLM’80) joins the capital markets practice at Dentons

New York—Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, today announces the addition of Marshall D. Feiring (LLM in Taxation’80) as a partner to its Capital Markets practice. Feiring focuses on tax issues relating to structured finance, securitization and fund formation, and will be resident in Dentons’ New York Midtown office.

Prior to joining Dentons, Feiring was in private practice focusing on multiple aspects of the formation and operation of complex investment vehicles, such as real estate mortgage investment conduits (REMICs), regulated investment companies (RICs) and real estate investment trusts (REITs). In his work, the REMICs involved single and multiple loans, commercial and residential loans and reperforming loans. Feiring also has knowledge and experience in numerous loan and REMIC agreement modifications and REMIC liquidations. Feiring is a frequent author on tax-related issues and regulatory developments affecting structured finance, including co-author of the BNA/Bloomberg Tax Management Portfolio “REMICs, FASITs and Other Mortgage-Backed Securities.”
