White and Williams Announces Addition of L. Stephen Bowers (’99) and Dana Petrillo (’07) to Philadelphia Office
White and Williams is pleased to announce the addition of L. Stephen Bowers (’99) and Dana Petrillo (’07) as Counsel in the Philadelphia office.
Stephen joins the Tax and Estates practice where he advises employers on the design, operation and regulation of executive compensation agreements and employee pension and healthcare plans. He has extensive knowledge of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), as well as relevant health, privacy and tax laws and has been at the forefront of efforts to help telemedicine companies obtain funding through employee benefit plans. Before entering private practice, Stephen worked as an investigator for the Employee Benefits Security Administration of the United States Department of Labor where he assisted with civil and criminal investigations of single or multi-employer plans and service providers.
Dana joins the Healthcare practice, advising and representing a variety of healthcare entities, including hospitals, health systems, physician practices, long term care providers, and payers, in a wide range of complex regulatory, compliance and litigation matters. She works with clients to ensure compliance with federal and multi-state health care laws and regulations, and has extensive experience handling legal issues arising from healthcare transactions and business arrangements, including assisting with healthcare provider licensure, Medicare and Medicaid provider enrollment and reimbursement. Dana also provides Healthcare clients counseling in connection with litigation, government audits, and investigations.
