Joshua is originally from Athens, Georgia. After earning his B.A. in Art History from the University of Georgia in 2019, he was selected as a Havner Curatorial Intern at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and was awarded the inaugural Art Bridges Research Fellowship at Art Bridges Foundation. Joshua has also worked for the University of Georgia’s Study Abroad Program in based Cortona, Italy, where he researched Italian art and architecture from the Etruscan era through the Renaissance. His current research explores visualizations of queer identity in the work of American painter Paul Cadmus and the artists that surrounded him. In addition to Art History, Joshua enjoys drawing, studying Italian, and working with horses.
