Isabella is interested in the ways that eroticism, desire, and sensuality operate in paintings and prints of the female body from the Early Modern period, and especially how these concepts function in depictions of bodies who have been subjected to sexual violence.

Besides Art History, Isabella loves to run and find bits of nature in Boston. She is originally from Northern California but her heart is in Ithaca, NY.
