Zihang Peng is a Communications Fellow at the Boston University Global Development Policy Center. He primarily executes release strategies for research products, including building webpages, supports the management of social media accounts and compiles reports using data and analytics across platforms to help assess the impact and success of communications plans. He mainly collaborates on communication strategies for the Global China Initiative (GCI). He is also the Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) at Boston University for Professor Min Ye working on China’s Political Economy and China’s Industrial Policy. His academic focus is on the evolving relationship between AI governance and developmentalism in East Asia.
Zihang holds a BA in Philosophy and minors in Economics and Film & Media Studies from Reed College. He is currently pursuing his MA in Global Policy with specialization in Developmental Policy and his Graduate Certificate in Asian Studies.
