Sandra Polaski is a Non-resident Senior Fellow, Global Economic Governance Initiative at the Boston University Global Development Policy Center. She is an expert on trade, labor and social policy issues at national and global levels. Previously, she served as the Deputy Director-General for Policy of the International Labour Organization (ILO) from 2012-2016 and as ILO Sherpa to the G20. Earlier, she was the US Deputy Undersecretary of Labor in charge of the International Labor Affairs Bureau and before that she directed the Trade, Equity and Development Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
