Mika Yao

Mika Yao is a Communications Fellow at the Boston University Global Development Policy Center. She is an undergraduate student at Boston University studying Political Science and International Relations with a minor in Chinese. Prior to joining the GDP Center, Mika interned with the American Immigration Council, focusing on finding policy-oriented solutions to social challenges. With a strong interest in law, she has worked in immigration and business law firms. As a current Communications Fellow, Mika is looking forward to exploring effective policy strategies in the field of communications.
