Ian Kieffer is a Former Global China Pre-Doctoral Research Fellow at The Boston University Global Development Policy Center. Ian is interested in energy and environmental economics, macro-finance, and applied microeconomics. His research for the Global China Initiative investigates the economic and environmental implications of China’s foreign energy investments. Ian holds a PhD in Earth and Environment from Boston University, a Masters degree in Economics from Boston University, and a Masters degree in Chemistry from Washington State University.
