Hanna is a PhD candidate in Economics at Boston University. Her main fields of interest are labor and development economics as well as economic history. Her current research looks into the effects of voluntary and forced internal migration. Hanna holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a master’s degree in Public Economics from Free University Berlin. Before coming to BU, she worked at the German Institute of Economics Research (DIW) Berlin.
