Gregory T. Chin is Associate Professor of Political Science/Political Economy at York University, Canada, and a Non-Resident Senior Fellow with the Global China Initiative at the Boston University Global Development Policy Center, and of the Foreign Policy Institute at the Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies. He is the Co-Director of the Emerging Global Governance (EGG) Project at Global Policy journal online, with Dr. Eva-Maria Nag. He has published widely on the international and comparative political economy of China, Asia, the BRICS and international money and global finance. He is on the advisory or editorial boards of the journal Review of International Political Economy, Global Governance, and The Journal of East Asian Studies. Before joining York University, Dr. Chin worked in the Government of Canada from 2000-2007, in Ottawa at the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade and the Canadian International Development Agency from 2000-2003, and as First Secretary at the Canadian Embassy in Beijing from 2003-2006.
