Diego Morro is a Data Analyst and Database Manager at the Boston University Global Development Policy Center, where he leads the Data Analysis for Transparency and Accountability (DATA) workstream. His work focuses on producing data-driven policy research to analyze the trends, risks and impacts of Chinese overseas finance. Additionally, he contributes to the GDP Center’s research on Chinese lending and investment in Africa and Asia. Diego’s current research involves leveraging AI techniques to enhance the tracking and analysis of Chinese projects abroad. He previously worked at the Rhodium Group, Trivium China and Columbia University. He is fluent in English, Spanish, Mandarin and French. He holds a Master’s in Quantitative Methods from Columbia University and a B.Sc. from King’s College London.
