Danlei Liao

Danlei Liao is the Communications & Outreach Associate for the Global China Initiative at the Boston University Global Development Policy Center. She is responsible for developing and executing strategic communications plans for both English- and Chinese-language audiences. Her work supports the dissemination of initiative’s research products, commentary, webinars, and database updates.

Prior to joining the GDP Center, she served as a Communications Consultant for the Our Future Agenda team at the United Nations Foundation. She recently graduated with an MS in Public Policy from Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies from Emerson College.
