Angeline Mumararungu is a 2025 Summer in the Field Fellow with the Boston University Global Development Policy Center and a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) candidate in Leadership, Management and Policy at Boston University School of Public Health, where she also serves as a Doctoral Research Fellow.

She is a global health practitioner with over a decade of public health experience in health system strengthening interventions ranging from community-based program interventions, hospital management, health policies, and health financing designs, and implementation. Her interests include health services financing, equity in health care, health systems, health policies, program impact effectiveness evaluation, cost-effective analysis, provider payment mechanisms, health priority setting, benefits package designs and institutional capacity building.

She earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Rwanda in 2014 and a Master of Sciences in Global Health Delivery from the University of Global Health Equity in Rwanda in 2017.
