Klinger’s Book, “Rare Earth Frontiers”, Now Available Open Access and as Audiobook
Julie M. Klinger’s book, Rare Earth Frontiers: From Terrestrial Subsoils to Lunar Landscapes, has recently been made available online through open access and as an audiobook on Audible.com. In the book, Klinger writes about the devastating damage to lives and the environment caused by the exploitation of rare earths. Rare Earth Frontiers received the 2017 Meridian Award from the American Association of Geographers for its “unusually important contribution to advancing the art and science of geography.”
Dr. Klinger is the co-director of the Land Use and Livelihoods Initiative at the Global Development Policy Center, as well as the Assistant Professor of International Relations at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University.
